THE YOUNG ANALYSTS RESEARCHERS PROGRAM
This Program under the responsibility of the Secretary General has been designed in accordance with the mission of preparing the next generation. With the aim of allowing Young Research Analysts to be introduced to Research, to have a framework of collaboration and cooperation (between Young people of different cultures, trainings, and different regions), to have a framework for training and continuous learning of political and social realities... of the Continent, learning to exercise authority, refining their writing and adapting skills, assimilating moral values,...
During the year, several exercises were given to them, Working Groups were set up, then Commissions of the number of five (5) in which they were distributed. Each Young Research Analyst will sit on at least two Commissions before the end of his mandate which is two years for the First Promotion and one year for future promotions. Each Commission whose main objective is to give Young Analysts Researchers the experience of a Permanent Framework of work and exchanges, Reflections, Analyses, Proposals and Actions on specific themes of current and or future, defines its functioning and its work schedule.
A Head and a Rapporteur are chosen by the Directorate, and are responsible for coordinating the activities of the Commission as well as its relations with the Governing Board of the Organization. The Heads of Commission regularly reported on the progress of the work of their Commission to the Secretary General of the Organization, who in turn reported regularly to the Executive Director.
There are 25 recruits who receive research kits at the beginning of each mandate. It is planned to offer the best among them, the opportunity of a Professional Internship of at least three months within International Organizations, Companies and other Institutions in order to allow them to have three to six months or even a year of professional experience before the end of their mandate as a Young Research Analyst.
